Summer Bootcamp Program

Learn veterinary medicine through education, experience, and action within our network of privately owned hospitals. This immersive program is designed for students seeking hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world clinical exposure.

Program Highlights

• 10-week paid internship

• Hands-on clinical experience in:

  • Primary care

  • Urgent care

  • Surgery

• Case rounds and journal club

• Wet labs

• RECOVER certification

• TNR experience — serve as the primary surgeon with mentor support

Housing Available

• Limited availability; first come, first served

• $175 per week

• $200 reservation deposit required

Requirements

• 10-week commitment

• Mandatory orientation week

• Maximum 40 hours per week scheduled in hospital

  (additional hours for labs, lectures, and TNR activities)

• One week of paid time off

• Occasional evening and weekend shifts

• Overnight shifts included for ECC-focused rotations

• Active participation required in all in-hospital and out-of-hospital learning activities and patient care
