General Questions

Tailent is a specialized platform connecting veterinary students and associates with private practice hospitals in the United States. Students and licensed veterinarians can post their resumes, while hospitals can post job openings, externships, and summer opportunities.

· Veterinary Associates: Must reside in the U.S. and have passed the NAVLE.

· Veterinary Students: Must currently be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.

· Hospitals: Must be privately owned veterinary practices. Corporate hospitals and relief positions are not permitted on Tailent.


For Students & Associates

It’s completely free for veterinary students and associates to post their resumes on Tailent! You can upload your resume at our form here

Once your resume is approved, it becomes visible to hospitals subscribed to Tailent. Practices can contact you directly for job openings, externships, or summer positions.


For Hospitals

· Basic Plan – $50/month: Post one job and get full access to the resume library of veterinary students and associates.

· Premium Plan – $125/month: Post an unlimited number of jobs, externships, and summer positions.

No. Tailent is a month-to-month service—cancel anytime, no long-term commitment needed.

Yes, externship and summer opportunities can be posted under the Premium Plan.

Great question! Subscribed Tailent users have two options:

1. Use our generic Associate job submission form, and we'll prepare your posting based on your responses.

2. Submit your own custom job description as a Word document or PDF, and we’ll post it for you within 24 hours.

All postings go through an approval process to ensure they meet Tailent’s guidelines.

No. Tailent is strictly for private veterinary practices. Corporate or relief postings are not allowed. If we identify a corporate posting, it will be removed immediately.

Other Information

Job postings remain live as long as your subscription is active.

You can cancel your plan anytime through your account settings. Your access remains active until the end of your current billing cycle.

Once approved, your posting will go live within 24 hours.
