Cypress Lake Animal Hospital, part of a privately owned group of three hospitals in the Fort Myers/Naples area and the Buffalo Veterinary Group network, is excited to offer externship opportunities for veterinary students interested in GP/urgent care medicine.

Externs will gain hands-on exposure to high-quality companion animal care, including wellness and sick visits, surgery (soft tissue, spay/neuter, orthopedic), diagnostics, emergency and overnight care, and advanced services such as ultrasound, CT, MRI, and in-house lab work. You’ll work alongside experienced, compassionate veterinarians and a supportive team committed to mentorship and collaboration.
